Overview

Future Tech One is a high-quality precision engineering company based in Launceston, in Devon, and Newcastle-Under-Lyme. We are looking for an experienced sales business manager with excellent knowledge of engineering businesses and, ideally, the precision engineering sector to join our expanding team. This can be a part-field based position, which can be discussed. 

The role will be instrumental in supporting the company’s ambitious growth agenda and the successful candidate will lead the sales and client facing relationships and activities. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a relationship focussed, ambitious, sales professional with a proven delivery track record to make an impact in a growing market sector. 

Key Accountabilities 
Build a strong reputable sales and client network within the precision engineering sector 
Establish new and maintain existing relationships with clients to deliver excellent service, both pre and post sale 
Consistently achieve sales performance targets
Company presentation skills and pitch experience
Developing new business
Work closely with the Operations Manager to deliver quotations aligned to client quality and delivery specifications 
Ability to positively influence and negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients 
Analyse sales and cost MI as well as prepare weekly/monthly KPI reports
Lead key marketing events such as trade shows and conferences – be a fantastic brand ambassador 
Provide excellent pre-sales technical assistance and product education
Build strong internal relationships within Vector to help solve client problems
Produce to quality training materials for the future sales team
Work with the owners to develop a Group Sales Strategy
